The Ministry of Finance has announced that the last date for filing declarations under the Direct Tax Vivad se Vishwas (DTVSV) Scheme, 2024 is 30th April 2025. Taxpayers with pending tax disputes are advised to submit Form 1 on or before this deadline to avail the benefits of the scheme.
The scheme, introduced to resolve direct tax disputes efficiently and promote voluntary compliance, allows taxpayers to settle their arrears with reduced interest and penalties. It applies to disputes pending before any appellate forum as of a specified date.
This update has been notified through Notification No. F. No. 32/2025/ F. No. 370142/9/2025-TPL, dated 08th April 2025.
Eligible taxpayers are encouraged to take timely action to ensure they do not miss out on the benefits provided under the scheme.
