ICAI Urges CBDT the need for Date Extension of ITR and Tax Audit

New Delhi, 17 September 2025 – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in its continued efforts to represent the concerns of taxpayers and professionals, has submitted a formal representation to Shri Ravi Agrawal, Chairman, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). The representation seeks parity in return filing due dates, specified dates under Section 44AB, and relief measures for trusts and institutions facing registration renewal deadlines.
