Dear Taxpayers,

GSTN celebrates the one-year anniversary of the successful launch of the additional five new IRP portals, the e-invoice master information portal, and the e-invoice QR Code Verifier app by unveiling the revamped e-invoice master information portal at https://einvoice.gst.gov.in.

This upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing taxpayer services.

The new features of the revamped portal include:

i. PAN-Based Search: Users can now check the e-invoice enablement status of entities using their Permanent Account Number (PAN) in addition to GSTIN.

ii. Automatic E-invoice Exemption List: The portal now automatically publishes an updated list of all GSTINs that have filed for e-invoice exemptions at the beginning of each month, available for users to download.

iii. Global Search Bar: A comprehensive search tab has been introduced for quick access to information across the portal.

iv. Local Search Capabilities: Enhanced search functionality within advisory, FAQ, manual, and other sections for efficient information retrieval.

v. Revamped Advisory and FAQ Section: Organized year-wise and month-wise for easier reference, providing comprehensive guidance.

vi. Daily IRN Count Statistics: The portal now includes statistics on the daily generation count of Invoice Reference Numbers (IRN).

vii. Dedicated Section on Mobile App: Information and support for the e-invoice QR Code Verifier app are readily accessible.

viii. Improved Accessibility Compliance and UI/UX: Adhering to GIWG guidelines, the portal now offers improved features for enhanced accessibility, including contrast adjustment, text resizing buttons, and screen reader support.

ix. Updated Website Policy: Thoroughly updated website policies, including archival policy, content management & moderation policy, and web information manager details.

Over the past year, more than 1.6 crore e-invoices were reported through the new IRPs, highlighting the system’s robustness and efficiency.

GSTN has introduced an internal e-invoice comprehensive health dashboard to further enhance ecosystem monitoring.

As a result:

a. Expansion of IRP Portals: GSTN now operates a total of six IRP portals through its partners, alongside the centralized de-duplication system.

b. E-Invoicing Reporting Accessibility: All eligible taxpayers can report e-invoices through any of these six IRP portals online, via APIs, or through a mobile app, free of cost, ensuring accessibility and convenience.

c. Hourly Auto Population of E-invoices in GSTR-1: Working with NIC-IRP to enable hourly auto-population of e-invoices in GSTR-1 reported on the NIC-IRP 1&2 portal.

d. E-invoice Download: Buyers and sellers can download e-invoices for the past six months via e-invoice portals and G2B APIs.

e. E-Invoice QR Code Verifier App: A tool for e-invoice verification, along with a search IRN functionality for online verification of IRN.

An enhanced version of the e-invoice verifier app with new features will be launched shortly.

GSTN remains committed to providing excellent taxpayer services. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to further facilitating your compliance journey on the portal.

Thank you,

Team GSTN
