  1. Rent paid by any individual exceeding Rs 5000/- PER MONTH SHOULD BE DEDUCTED BY THE PERSON PAYING THE RENT @ 10 % ( TDS) and credited to I T . This should be applied uniformly throughout the Country. This will increase the income of the Central Govt.The amount may be used to supply rice at 10 kgs per month to all the people below the poverty line. Finance Minister Mrs. SITRAMAN please note this point and present an amended Budget.
