  • On 24 September 2025, the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur Bench, passed an interim order extending the due date for filing Tax Audit Reports (TARs) under Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
  • The original deadline was 30th September 2025. The Court directed to CBDT that TARs now be accepted until 31st October 2025 and issue official order for the same
